My legs, restricted to the ground
I cannot fly, as the falcon rides the wind's gentle sigh
My hands cannot craft intricate art
Must work so hard to weave but a shadow of my heart
My tongue cannot convey emotional array, that which it wishes to say
Yet where it not this way, were the sun to burn away the grey
how would one know what joy it is to sing?
How appreciate the swiftness of wing?
for to be without, and steeped in doubt,
must surely bring about
a greater appreciation
of the perfection of imperfection.
